COULD YOU RESOLVE IT?

NO HEATING OR HOT WATER?

This could be a sign of low water pressure in the boiler.

NO HEATING OR HOT WATER?

This could be a sign of low water pressure in the boiler. The pressure should always read 1.5bar on the gauge which is normally located on the front of the boiler.

Before reporting anything to us or attempting to top up the pressure, you should check your gas meter (if you have pre-payment) to ensure you have gas in the meter. If you have no gas, you should top up the meter.

If however you have gas this could be a low pressure problem or a faulty boiler. You should always check the pressure first.

To top up the pressure you simply look underneath the boiler and find the filling loop. This is normally a sliver hose connected to two pipes. On end end of the hose there should be a black tap, sometimes there is two. They should be turned to allow the flow of water in the boiler. Once the pressure has reached 1.5bar, close the tap.

SMOKE ALARM CONSTANTLY BEEPING?

This could be a sign of the battery needing replaced.

SMOKE ALARM CONSTANTLY BEEPING?

This could be a sign of the battery needing replaced.

Although all smoke alarms and heat detectors in our properties are hard wired to the mains power supply, they also have a 9v battery in them as a backup. If you find the smoke alarm or heat detector is beeping every 10-15 seconds, this could be an indictation of the battery needing changed.

To change the battery you simply twist the face of the smoke alarm anti-clockwise and remove the power supply (wiring in white connection). The battery is then located under a rectangle flat. Open this up, remove the battery and replace.

NO ELECTRICITY IN THE HOUSE?

This could be a sign of a tripped fuse on the fuse box.

NO ELECTRICITY IN THE HOUSE?

This could be a sign of a tripped fuse on the fuse box.

Before reporting an issue to us or checking the fuse box, you should check your electricity meter to ensure you have enough credit (if on prepayment). If you do not have enough credit, please top up your meter.

If however you have enough credit and no electricity in the house, it could be a tripped fuse on the fusebox.

Locate the fuse box and have a look at all the switches. If one of them is down and the rest are up, this is most likely a tripped fuse. Simply put the switch back up and your electricity should be restored.
